JOB DESCRIPTION:

A new key role with a well-established, family-owned Concrete production specialist.   Low Grange Quarry is a family-owned business established since 2003, specialising in the production and supply of ready mixed concrete, pre-stressed concrete panels and interlocking concrete blocks. With many years experience, our dedicated on-site team onsite provides advice about concrete products to the trade those who need concrete products for DIY purposes. We are now looking for a Concrete Plant Batcher to work in our brand new Batching Plant.   As a Concrete Plant Batcher, you’ll be responsible for accurately batching concrete in accordance with our set procedures. That’ll involve ensuring that the plant is adequately maintained and stocked with materials at all times to meet production demands, whilst working in a fast-moving environment. Taking a rigorous approach to Health & Safety for yourself, visitors and contractors to the site will be important, whilst projecting a professional image and ensuring that site rules are complied with at all times. Other key responsibilities of the Concrete Plant Batcher will include: •             reporting defects •             helping organise plant maintenance •             general housekeeping.   To apply for the Concrete Plant Batcher, you’ll need a proven track record as a Concrete Batcher, with a good level of IT literacy and ideally some mechanical knowledge. Your hardworking, flexible approach will combine with bags of initiative, and a good level of physical fitness.
