JOB DESCRIPTION:

Communications Officer This is a full time vacancy but would be considered on a part time or flexible basis. Due to staff redeployment we require an effective communications officer to be placed within the structural surfacing team; to manage public enquiries and undertake other associated administrative duties. Key responsibilities * Providing solutions to complex and politically sensitive communications for the Maintenance Delivery Team who deliver an annual programme of carriageway, footway, and drainage works. Proactively minimising the number and magnitude of communications issues that arise. * Handle casework in a timely and appropriate manner, effectively and efficiently, while showing due regard to HCC policy and procedures. * Ensure the Maintenance Delivery team’s customer focus through effective internal and external communications.
