JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Chef de Partie Pastry role is available at a high end Brasserie style restaurant located in Tyne and Wear. Role:. In this position of Chef de Partie Pastry you will be working in a fast paced, high volume Brasserie restaurant that is focused on producing dishes that are created from fresh seasonal food. The dishes are described as simple but imaginative, a contemporary spin is put on tried and tested favourites and the emphasis is on good honest flavours. As much as possible food is purchased from local suppliers to ensure the freshest ingredients are utilised. The restaurant is open daily and menus are changed regularly to reflect the changing seasons. There is also a separate private dining area which can cater for up to 48 covers for a seated meal or 60 covers for champagne and canapés. As Chef de Partie Pastry you will be expected to assist in the running of the pastry section in the kitchen to the high standards expected, following the recipes to create dishes that are cooked and presented well. Requirements:. All candidates must have Chef de Partie Pastry experience gained in a busy kitchen that offered Brasserie style menus for at least 100 covers. A proven track record is essential for this role showing you have the ability to produce desserts and pastries to high standards in your section whilst working under pressure. Benefits Include:.
