JOB DESCRIPTION:
Homecare Co-Ordinator Medacs Healthcare have over 25 years experience, delivering high quality home care to vulnerable adults in their own homes and now, due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Homecare Co-Ordinator to join our ever expanding team at our offices, based at Salford Quays. Duties to include: Shift patterns - 07.00 to 15.30 & 09.30 to 18.00 Monday to Friday. On-Call, 1 in approximately 6/7 weekends. Preparation of staff rota s on a weekly basis. Processing staff holidays/absence. Covering calls to accommodate annual leave, sickness etc. Conducting staff supervisions, annual appraisals as and when required. Working as part of a dedicated team, ensuring the safe delivery of homecare services to our clients living in Manchester City Centre and surrounding areas (Clayton, Newton Heath, Miles Platting, Beswick, Openshaw, Longsight and Levenshulme) and Trafford (Sale, Stretford, Urmston Flixton). Liaising with outside agencies e.g. Social Services, GP s, District Nurses, along with our Service User s family members and any other care givers. To ensure all staff are fully compliant and adhering to Medacs Healthcare policies and procedures. Desired Skills and Experience: Excellent communicator, both written and verbal. The ability to work to tight deadlines. The ability to prioritise your own work load. Experience of Domiciliary home care, either in a previous Co-Ordinator role or experience of being a care worker based in the community/residential setting.
