JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking 3 proactive and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy patient contact and working in a friendly, multidisciplinary team environment to support us in the delivery of a quality service. You will work collaboratively within the Urology/General Surgery services to provide a comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrative service. If you have excellent secretarial and communication skills, can work well in a team, are able to meet deadlines and can help patients through the whole pathway from referral to discharge, then this position is for you. Duties will include but not be limited to typing of clinical correspondence, booking appointments, dealing with patient queries and co-ordination of services. This post involves working closely with patients and staff in various departments, so you will need a flexible professional approach, excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills. You must have a minimum of 2 years medical secretarial experience, a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm and be very proficient in audio typing.
