JOB DESCRIPTION:

Autism Support Specialist l ASD/Behaviour l Manchester Quality Teachers are looking for a number of 1:1 learning support assistants in the Manchester area to work on an on-going basis within a number of special schools within Greater Manchester. We are looking for learning support assistants who have experience working with Behavioural, 1:1, ADHD, autism, physical disabilities and speech and language or support workers who have genuine passion to help support children with additional needs. The role will ultimately be about providing quality education and care, also to work 1:1 and help children and young people progress. The schools cater for a variety of special educational needs for children from KS1-KS5; they cover all curriculum subjects and really see the benefit on giving children and young people choices. The roles are available on a long term weekly paid basis, starting September at a daily rate of £55- £77 To join the QT team and be successful in the role of learning support assistant you will need to have: *experience or working knowledge on supporting children with complex needs * experience of working with SEN children and young people *Have effective behavioural and classroom management *Want to commit to a long term supply contract *Be able to build and develop professional relationships with both school staff and students across multiple schools.
