Forensic : Using specialist accounting, investigation and business skills in assisting clients involved in commercial or regulatory disputes or in the investigation of fraud and impropriety. Working in the team will mean getting involved in a broad range of projects, i.e. Fraud investigations, and tracing assets. We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join the team in the Manchester or Leeds office. As part of our Forensic team, you will be involved in projects in areas such as: : Fraud; : Disputes and litigation; : Anti:bribery and corruption; : Financial and misconduct investigations; and, : Regulatory compliance Roles and Responsibilities The role undertaken by the individual will depend on the type and circumstances of each project. The candidate should expect to work on a variety of project based work over a cross section of forensic work types, industries and geographies. The role is likely to include working as part of a team on investigations, compliance and disputes assignments. The individual will be expected to deal directly with the client and senior members of the KPMG team. Each project will generally incorporate the review and assessment of evidence, controls and/or risks. The individual will also be expected to participate in marketing, knowledge sharing and practice development. The individual will be based in KPMGs Manchester or Leeds office but will need to display a flexible attitude to working and be prepared to travel to/work at other locations within the UK and internationally. Qualifications and Skills Professional accounting qualification is required.
