JOB DESCRIPTION:

Training Advisor Health and Social Care - North East - £22000 - £26500 pa + fuel card + benefits. Trainer/Assessor - Retail or Hospitality- North East - £22600 - £24000+ fuel card. My client is an accredited skills and vocational training provider, delivering a range of vocational training in the North East. They are a leading, nationwide provider of skills and training. They have vacancies for Training Advisors who will take responsibility for managing a caseload of 45 learners, creating a bespoke and meaningful lesson plan and schedule of learning to support and motivate learners towards achieving either Health & Social Care, Hospitality or Retail qualifications up to Level 3, stretching their learning, increasing their knowledge and capabilities and supporting them while they evolve intellectually and professionally. Key Duties include:. Train, asses, motivate and support learners on Health & Social care, Hospitality or Retail programmes towards achieving qualifications including Apprenticeships and NVQ''s. Promote, and deliver training in accordance with industry guidelines, including the promotion of equality and diversity in all lessons. Maintain appropriate Health and safety documentation during visits and remain vigilant to any safeguarding issues which may arise. Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting. standardisation. Use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner. Maximise the use of e- learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways. Utilise the use of learners lesson plan to record and endorse the journey the learner has undergone towards achieving their qualification. Achieve all monthly, quarterly and annual targets. Maintain employer involvement throughout the programme. Qualifications and Experience. TAQA or equivalent,. NVQ 3 in a related field. Proven track record of assessing in the relevant field using e portfolio. IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access. The salary on offer is £22000 - £26500 pa depending on qualifications + fuel card + Benefits. This role is subject to an Enhanced CRB Check.
