JOB DESCRIPTION:

ADVANCED PROJECT MANAGER (SAP ANALYST) One of the countries leading service firms seeks to expand its senior IT team by attracting an Advanced Project Manager / SAP Analyst. Role Profile: The Advanced Project Manager / SAP Analyst is an integral part of the SAP ERP team. This individual possesses deep knowledge of SAP and is responsible for the design, definition, configuration and testing of the solution within the SD VC SAP module, site deployment of the Global template following the ASAP methodology, enhancement of the template as required, production support and ongoing maintenance of multiple modules within the SAP system; specializing in a defined module (i.e. MM, PP, SD, WM, FI/CO, etc.). This role will participate as a key member of the SAP Global Center of Excellence utilizing SAP best practices and industrialised, consistent, repeatable development, delivery and support processes to provide value to the business. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for collaborating with key business resources on requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user acceptance, implementation, and documentation. Understand and translate business concepts to executable functional designs; ensure functional designs are executed as a viable solution to the business concept; ensuring module(s) solution aligns and is compatible with overall architecture Serve as a global system capabilities expert on the assigned module(s) as enabled in the SAP template, lead the process analysis and redesign, gap analysis and SAP template change management exercises in support of the global implementation and harmonisation of the defined function. Coordinate and work with other SAP Analysts to understand integration points within SAP and other systems, grasp the impact of all proposed system changes. Provide guidance on integration with other SAP modules and subsidiary solutions. Lead the root cause analysis of and design solutions for complex system problems in the assigned SAP module(s), and follow the appropriate change control procedures including the creation and ownership of functional specifications, and testing documentation. Execute configuration of the SAP system for the assigned module(s). Essential Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications: This position requires a skilled professional who possesses a bachelor s degree and 7-10 years of technical implementation and business analysis experience. Must have specific work experience with SAP ECC 6.0, in the defined functional module(s) with business process mapping & configuration. Must be skilled at working with custom development team (ABAP, BI) to develop and deliver custom developments. Ability to analyse proposed template / system changes, providing an evaluation and effectively communicate the impact. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment, working on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Strong skills in prioritisation and effective communication skills are a must. Formal project management training a plus. Must have deep SAP experience, 7+ years as SAP Lead or with at least 2 full cycle global implementations as architect; Expert in multiple modules Experience utilizing SAP ASAP or similar SAP implementation methodology Implementation experience in discrete manufacturing and/or heavy equipment manufacturing. Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and blueprinting. SAP certification in defined module(s) is preferred. Personal commitment and development plan to achieve SAP certification in defined module(s) is required. Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization. Experience in multiple industries a plus Speaking / writing skills in multiple languages a plus.
