JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced administrator or scientist with administrative experience to provide wide ranging professional administrative services to a research team working on diabetes at the IGMM. This team includes investigators, statisticians, programmers who collaborate with a wide-range of international collaborators. The main responsibilities are to provide personal assistant support including diary management to the head of the team, to provide administrative support to grant writing and research report preparation, to maintain the team’s web entries and to act as the point of liaison between the team and the finance and other administrative officers at the IGMM. Successful applicants will have administrative experience, strong IT skills, a sound understanding of research context and will have excellent oral and written communication skills. A degree is not essential though the post would suit a graduate with experience of the research environment. This is a fixed-term post for 1 year in the first instance. Informal enquiries to .
