As of 1 April 2015 Vattenfall is organized in six cross-border Business Areas in order to be able to better support the Group s new overall strategy: Heat, Wind, Customers & Solutions, Generation. Markets and Distribution. The structure follows Vattenfall s overarching strategy for the years ahead which consist of three focus areas: - Strong customer focus and new customer-centric business models - A more sustainable energy portfolio - Increased business focus in all operations Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Director for Consumer Market You will become a member of the Customer Sales Nordic Management Team and report to the Vice President of the Consumer Sales Nordic. Vattenfall serves 1,3 million customers in the consumer and small & medium business markets why you in this role, will be one of our key contributors in shaping the future for Vattenfall and our customers. As Director for Consumer Market you have full commercial responsibility for our consumer customers in Sweden and Finland. More specifically this includes for instance: - developing market plan and budget including responsibility for profit and loss - identifying and prioritizing product development needs - developing the relevant sales propositions, campaigns and channel mix - churn tracking, management and prevention - overall customer portfolio profitability - pricing strategy and decisions - being an escalation point of customer issues - handling possible queries from media We are looking for a Director for Consumer Market who has a University degree in eg Business administration or equal, several years of proven formal managerial experience including profit and loss. Change management is something that comes natural to you and experience in Agile way of working is desirable. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position: - Excellent and proven track record as a leader in challenging environments - Very good business sense in balancing short and long-term targets - Experience of working in large international organizations - Fluent in English and Swedish language (both written and oral) Your personal characteristics You have strong, proven leadership skills and a drive for results. You possess the ability to think strategically, see the big picture and have the courage to challenge. You are proactive, driven and open to change and use your strong interpersonal skills to build trustworthy relationships and effective interfaces. As a leader you are clear, visible and courageous.
