Within the Advisory department in Luxembourg, BDO is looking for : Financial Advisory Services  - Experienced consultant Ref. MO-RI2115 We are looking for experienced Consultant / Project Manager who combines a good understanding of operational activities (B2B, B2C activities) and experience in business improvement in the financial sector. While leveraging on your past experience(s) and on the different strengths of our firm, you will play an active role in our growing Advisory practice, which will develop and implement a wide range of services for financial institutions. As part of a team of consultants and with a high degree of responsibility, you will also manage organizational and IT/business/regulatory projects to serve our clients. This is an intellectually challenging role, which requires a highly motivated individual  who is proactive, assertive and change agent. This combines in-depth industry knowledge with technical expertise to assist our clients with regulatory changes, development and improvement of Financial Institution’s activities and processes. Your mission: You will provide to Financial Institutions Advisoy services such as:supporting the definition of the appropriate approach and defining the right set of initiatives;driving business requirements, evaluation, selection and prioritisation process;performing gap analyses based upon business requirements and defining "TO BE" processes/solutions participating in process reengineering and operations reviews, restructuring of operations  translating operational efficiency assessments into implementable business requirements, making use of your industry expertise supporting implementation projects and ensuring interaction with the IT aspects of the implementationYou will collaborate on project with experts within BDO Luxembourg and the network;You will support business development initiatives and bidding processes (contribution to practice growth and development); Your profile: Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or AccountingAt least 4-5 years experience in operational projects, business process analysis, efficiency improvement projects in a Financial Institution or within a professional services firm (Management Consulting or Audit);Knowledge of the consulting process and engagement management techniques (Core Consulting Competencies);Excellent communication skills and client focus with the ability to develop team and client relationships Excellent analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset , flexibility, rigorous and very well organizedProblem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise judgment Ability to gather and prioritize business and client requirementsPositive and enthusiastic attitude, team player and able to work in changing environmentsFluent in French and English. Any other language is considered an asset
