UpCloud is a technology company operating in the cloud hosting industry with data centres in Helsinki, London, Chicago and Frankfurt. We seek to continue our expansion with new service areas in the future - South-East Asia next on the roadmap for early 2016. Our vision is to provide SMEs with the best possible cloud computing service, focusing passionately on performance, reliability and price. We are looking for an ambitious sales and goal oriented marketing director to join our ranks to help achieve this goal. You would be working with us in Helsinki, Finland. Your role as the marketing director is to work with the Sales Director in engaging audiences with UpCloud while turning contacts into leads through different methods of communication. While we are very clear on the goals and objectives for this position, you will be able to start off with a clean slate and carve out your own mark deeply into our DNA. In addition, you will naturally have full control of your marketing budget. At heart you are an entrepreneur who is obsessed about growth. We are very data driven, goal oriented and passionate about growth. We challenge the status quo with our technology that we ve built over the years. Our customers think highly of us (our recent NPS survey gave us a score of 61) and we want to aim higher, while achieving global growth. Requirements: - A track record of successful data driven marketing efforts with concrete growth to back this up. - You understand how the buying process works online with a strong capability to catalyse it with better communication skills and methods. - You possess an eye for good visuals and can communicate your ideas clearly. - Ability to execute a well planned campaign and iterate accordingly. - Understanding how to use own, paid and earned media platforms while obsessing about a healthy ROI. - Fluency in English.
