- Sourcing - Denmark - Bagsværd Do you want to take over responsibility for suppliers used in Novo Nordisk’s large portfolio of capital investment projects? About the department As a key business support function, we execute significant purchases and ensure optimum procurement in large scale capital projects world-wide every day. We purchase from constructions and buildings, critical production equipment and engineering services for more than DKK 3bn annually. You now have the chance to join a professional sourcing department and a global growth company. The job Our new colleague will be assigned to several capital investment projects. In these you will work closely together with the project manager and team. You will be responsible for creating solid and viable procurement strategies for each project. Based on these strategies you will develop, align, and maintain explicit procurement plans which you obtain buy-in on from all relevant stakeholders. You manage all procurement activities including supplier selection with our category managers, executing tendering processes, bid clarification and evaluation, terms & conditions and contract preparation and negotiations. You also recommend and award suppliers, and follow up on contracts. You have the full commercial responsibility for sourcing of goods and services in the capital investment projects to which you are assigned. Another key area of responsibility is that you ensure and safeguard that all sourcing and supplier related activities are conducted in full compliance with our standards and regulations. You continuously keep track of progress and results. You participate in the continuous improvement of our department’s activities by feeding key learning and knowledge to your colleagues and thereby further optimizing our processes and systems. Qualifications You are a very experienced procurement professional with extensive knowledge from large or international companies with well-driven purchasing environments. You have created substantial procurement results throughout your career. Your behaviour is result-oriented and focused on delivering according to plan. A focus on continuous improvement of processes and systems is an inherent part of your working style. You are structured, organised and have an analytical mind-set that enables you to conclude fast and efficiently. Building and maintaining good working relationships is vital to this role, and the ideal candidate possesses excellent people skills as well as a profound understanding of quality, high drive, and flexibility. Likely you hold MSc/BSc degree(s) in economics, engineering, business, purchasing or similar. You communicate with ease in English and have very solid IT skills.
