JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this position, you will ensure that future LEGO Bricks can be produced in the high quality that enables endless play for millions of children and adult LEGO fans. A practical approach to quality work As our new Quality Engineer, you will be working in our Global Approval department, part of the Elements and Moulds and Quality organisation in the LEGO Group. Your responsibility follows that of the department: to evaluate and approve LEGO elements for production and support our sites on quality issues. The different elements are made from novelty or re-ordered moulds. Your work will mostly be practical in nature, and your assignments will be to: Carry out and ensure quality approval of elements by comparing master samples and measuring reports Help create quality procedures and processes Participate in projects and problem solving on quality issues Continuously develop a detailed understanding of the LEGO Building system and element DNA to be able to deliver on critical quality Work Join a connected community You will be cooperating closely with team members across our locations in China and Mexico, our Mould Qualification department that rely on your quality expertise, external partners, and more, particularly in the Engineering organisation. Experience and technical understanding The position will challenge your ability to understand how your role fits into the value chain to be able to deliver expertise in your quality work. You need to have a solid technical understanding combined with a good sense of detail, enabling you to work with many comprehensive specifications at a time. You are a team player at heart and possess good communication skills. As we are a business in growth with new initiatives happening often, you need to be comfortable with change. Your qualifications: Solid experience working with quality, preferably quality approval of metal or plastic components/elements Basic understanding of technical tools and drawings Good IT skills. You are experienced working with MS Office.
