We are looking for Purchasing Manager with solid strategic sourcing experience and strong stakeholder management skills. Global Sourcing Indirect Business Support Global Indirect Goods and Services Sourcing leads within Vestas the procurement of all non-product related purchases. E.g. consultancy, HR services, travel, company cars, utilities, manufacturing indirect items and facilities management. One of the main categories in Global Indirect Goods and Services is Utilities & Facility Management which is responsible for the management of spend of over €30M. Utilities & Facility Management covers the procurement of electricity, gas, water, & waste as well as a key focus on energy efficiency improvements within manufacturing facilities. As Purchasing Manager for Utilities & Facility Management, it will be your responsibility to develop and implement the sourcing strategy for the commodities assigned to you. You will, as a commercial expert, be responsible to develop and execute category strategies, to lead the sourcing and negotiation processes and to conduct supplier relationship management. Finally, you will be responsible for supporting the Global Category Leader in developing and implementing new strategies for the Business Services Category. They will bring enthusiasm and dynamism to this new team in order to deliver on the ambitious procurement targets set. Responsibilities: Responsible for Strategy development and implementation on own commodities Lead Category Management Team(s) working crossfunctionally Lead Supplier relationship and performance management Understand our internal stakeholders requirements, gather commercial and technical information necessary to implement sourcing initiatives as part of the Strategy, lead supplier negotiations Perform continous and in depth stakeholder management Responsible for KPI fulfilment on own commodities within the Professional Services Execute risk assessments of suppliers, using the standard risk tools Secure that information on contracts status, goals and stakeholders is shared and integrated in the line organization Qualifications and work experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience either in similar positions or in a Engineering Consultancy company Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience is preferable Strong negotiation, supplier relationship management and project management skills Strong interpersonal skills and highly stakeholder oriented mind-set Financial understanding Computer skills must be advanced in PPT, Excel, and Word Structured, systematic and good understanding of business processes You are self-motivating, extremely result oriented, always raising the bar for yourself and encouraging your peers to follow, and you have a strong cross functional understanding. You communicate and sell your ideas effectively and have the ability to work cooperatively with various stakeholders, colleagues, and management.
