Would you like to be part of our commercial team building the future success of a newly created green technology with the responsibility for business development and commercial relations? Join us and become Business Developer in the REnescience Commercial department which is responsible for commercialising our innovative REnescience technology that is used to extract value from unsorted municipal solid waste. The department operates on a global base, engaging with clients from lead generation to the final signing of all commercial terms needed to support the investment decision. REnescience Commercial is part of Thermal Power, which has 900 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We own just below half of the thermal production capacity in Denmark and are at the forefront of the development within efficient use of biomass and reduction of the environmental impact through innovative bio-refining technologies. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Business Developer, your areas of responsibility will span from early stage lead generation activities, over development and execution of entry strategy in new markets, and through to development of valuation analyses and using them as support for negotiation with clients. Moreover, you will identify new opportunities and clients to be approached, and you will approach them and secure their successful engagement. You will also develop our business cases and commercial structure around them, whilst creating value for both the company and our clients. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •play an active role in defining and executing implementation plans to enter new attractive markets for the REnescience technology •use, adjust and improve our valuation model •be an active part in the development of the REnescience commercial team by flexibly supporting your team colleagues. Your profile You have an education within either a technical area or a business-related area and some experience with valuation tool modelling. It will be an advantage if you have commercial experience. In order to handle the complexity of our business cases as well as engage effortlessly with our clients, it is imperative that you have a good mix of analytical skills as well as excellent people skills. You are ambitious, but also aware that your success depends on the success of the entire team. You are willing to learn and adjust flexibly to an environment which at times will put you under pressure due to a high workload.
