• re looking to hire a marketing and event coordinator for a 50% permanent contract in Basel. The role is broad but centered around coordination of our customer-facing activities such as webinars, conferences, and user group meetings. Our customers work with drug research and development, so you should know roughly what this entails or have a keen interest in finding out. Key Responsibilities We - the Genedata Screener® marketing team - want to be able to hand over the full responsibility of all the above mentioned activities to you, including planning, budgeting, execution, and follow up. You will coordinate with us to make sure that marketing campaigns, messages, and events align, and with the sales team to plan the events and follow up all customer contact, but it will be your responsibility to make sure the events run smoothly and successfully, as measured by internal and external feedback. When you are not busy with the events you will have the opportunity to learn about and help us improve other areas in marketing, aligned with your interests and our needs. We are happy to teach you what we know and look forward to learning from you. Your Profile Our team and our customers are international, so you need to speak and write excellent English. As some suppliers are located in Switzerland, German knowledge is a plus. Most of your work will be customer-oriented, so you should have or quickly gain an understanding of where our customers are and what they need from us, while also keeping your ears open to the needs of the internal organization. We understand that a 50% position is not for everybody and know that you will likely have a side interest that takes up a lot of your time and focus. However, we are looking for a candidate who wants their 50% of work to be hands-on, collaborative, and offer a lot of independence, and believe that the right person in this role will be able to contribute immensely to our team.
