NÁPLŇ PRÁCE:

Water Treatment Engineer Derby £34,000 per annum Our client is seeking a number of Water Treatment Engineers with an engineering background to work within our clean water Non-Infra (Water Treatment) engineering team. The team are responsible for managing projects to integrate disinfection (chemical dosing/UV) rigs into existing assets to ensure that our AMP 6 plan is delivered across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for project and programme delivery of capital engineering projects from project inception through to completion and is accountable for both delivery and solution engineering by working alongside our contract partner to identify and deliver a single optimised solution. You will assist the Programme Manager in performing the role of NEC Project Manager and Client duties under CDM and ensure that project delivery process maps are followed and that deliverables are appropriately allocated and completed prior to each Gate. The role holder will undertake financial management of projects to ensure accurate and robust financial forecasting and budgetary allocation whilst challenging contract partners on the detail of design/standards to ensure they conform to STW standards. To apply for this role you will need to be of graduate calibre with qualifications in an engineering discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical etc) and strong experience in a similar Programme/ Project Engineer role. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have knowledge of clean water treatment technologies such as chemical dosing/UV and have gained experience in the implementation of such rigs to current regulations and standards. You must have an appreciation of Contract Law and Construction Contract terms and knowledge of supply chain management with emphasis on the control of financial, H&S, and quality outputs. A full UK Driving licence is required for the role.
