We can now offer this exciting opportunity of an Application Engineer due to continued worldwide success of the company. Key Responsibilities:. - Confirm technical options to meet customer requirements including design and thermodynamic options. - Interpret customers requirements and complete match process. - Identify technical requirements of project, internal and customer activity required to launch product into production including all design, Validation & Release and prototype activity. - Ensures all technical risks are documented and resolved before SOP. - Support customers with the resolution of any technical issues prior and post SOP. - Identify customer development requirements and feed back to project team, including prototype demand and timing of different build levels. - Understands and adheres to current quality and control policies. - Work with other departments to ensure that all technical aspects of the project are completed to best engineering practice and in line with project timing. - Identify changes to project technical scope and timing and ensure that the internal departments affected are aware of the change. - Provide technical expertise in root cause analysis of test data and failure both Pre-SOP and Post-SOP. - Lead the development of qualification testing to ensure full qualification. Qualifications:. - Bachelors Hons Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree along with the membership of a professional institution. - At least 5 years of engine/engine component experience and customer interfacing. - Must have strong technical skills in mechanical engineering. - Candidate must be proficient in use of the Microsoft Office package: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook. - Strong CAD skills.
