NÁPLŇ PRÁCE:

Local Care Force are currently recruiting for a well established and quality driven organisation who specialise in the provision of residential, educational and therapeutic facilities for young looked after people with behavioural issues, mental health, offending behaviour and very complex needs in and around Telford, Shropshire area and North Wales. Our client supports young people who have often been abused, experienced trauma or had a family breakdown issue which they have been unable to cope with. The organisation provide consistent care, a stable placement, a bespoke educational package and a specialist therapeutic service to meet the identified needs of the young people. As a residential care worker you will already have your Level 3 in Children & Young People of equivalent and have substantial experience of working with young people with very challenging behavioural issues. The organisation have 24 homes around the area and you must be flexible to work across more than one home in your area as and when required - due to this a car driver and owner is essential! You will be working with a very strong team, a deputy and a house manager where the aim of the services is to support young people into independence. All young people are either on a 121 or 221 basis so you will be working very intensively on shift with one young person, supporting them in an education setting, arranging and partaking in activities, walking, cooking, sports etc. You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week which consists of 2 x 24hr shifts with 2 sleep ins, then four off. This role is very challenging but also very rewarding.
