Our Client specializes is complete international delivery solutions for both direct mail users & periodical publishers. They handle over 25 million items per year to all parts of the globe, for a range of business - business customers who demand the best. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ACCOUNT MANAGER . Based out of the St Albans site you will be covering a national territory with a requirement to visit the office once per week. The role would suit a hard working person prepared to do lots of lead generation, door knocking etc. Maybe somebody ready to take the next step up from Telesales into Field Sales. The Account Manager is responsible for the PROSPECTING and ACQUISITION of NEW BUSINESS customers up to and above an agreed revenue target. Reporting to the Head of Business Development principal responsibilities are as follows ? Identification and contact of potential prospects within allocated sales area ? Respond to provided sales leads and referred prospects in a timely manner ? Meet with prospects to present our clients services ? Identification of ways that our client can benefit potential customers ? Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for new business in accordance with personal sales targets as set from time to time ? Regular contact with personally generated customers up to hand over to account management teams ? Achieve the minimum sales standards as communicated by the company from time to time ? Liaison with Commercial team to ensure opportunities are quoted accurately ? Set up new accounts in adherence to account set up procedures The successful candidate will have experience within an INTERNATIONAL MAIL , DIRECT MAIL, PUBLISHING background. Applicants from an INTERNATIONAL PARCELS background will also be considered. You must be enthusiastic, self motivated, pro active in all aspects of work & above all you must be strong of character with the will to drive the business forward. Most importantly you must thrive on exceeding targets & be looking to prove a point
