Would you like to be part of exciting projects, the objective of which is to convert biomass and household waste to sustainable energy? Join us as Team Lead in our Laboratory & Pilot department which is responsible for the operation of laboratories and analyses as well as pilot-scale testing. The department consists of 11 employees who support the development of the Inbicon and REnescience technologies, and your primary task will be team management. The department is part of Thermal Power which has 800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We own just below half of the thermal production capacity in Denmark and are at the forefront of the development within efficient use of biomass and reduction of the environmental impact through innovative bio-refining technologies. Your place of work will be both our laboratories and pilot plant in Copenhagen and Skærbæk near Fredericia so you should expect some travelling in relation to tasks and meetings at our different locations. Your key duties will be to •manage and develop the Laboratory & Pilot team •plan and coordinate the tasks of the team, as well as coordinate with the other departments in Technology, Business Development & Execution •ensure development of the necessary procedures and methods for supporting technology development •contribute to the implementation of an electronic laboratory book (e-notebook). •keep focus on a high security level. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have a master''s degree, eg in chemical engineering •have staff management experience •have insight into the analytical chemistry and preferably also experience from working in laboratories and/or pilot plants •put safety first and have a broad technical insight •are able to create good relationships with your partners. As we work in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. Our area is developing and you should thus be are able to plan and work in a structured manner and have the ability to follow up on and finish tasks.
