Would you like to help us ensure prudent project management governance when executing asset integrity projects across our Northern European offshore wind portfolio? Join us and become Senior Project Manager in the Asset Integrity Projects department which is responsible for managing major asset integrity projects across the operating wind farms. Asset Integrity Projects is part of Wind Power which has 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia, Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen or alternatively at our London office in the United Kingdom. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Senior Project Manager, you will be a part of an experienced project management team, where you will become co-responsible for ensuring prudent project management governance applied to all major asset integrity projects in operations. You will be overall responsible for ensuring that the projects are executed and completed based on the agreed business objectives, acting in accordance with the mandate given by the Project Steering Committee. Moreover, you will establish and maintain a wide range of cross-organisational interfaces through the project life cycle and manage a large number of commercial, operational and technical stakeholders. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •ensure project progress acting with proactive management based on the agreed scope, budget and project plan through involvement of key stakeholders in a structured manner •lead the project teams and allocated resources securing progress and performance according to the agreed deliverables and milestones •deliver project solutions based on inputs from the relevant line functions, for example Engineering, Procurement etc. •secure that the projects in all aspects comply with relevant HSE requirements and take proactive actions to reduce safety risks, if required •involve the Project Steering Committee allowing relevant decisions made in timely manner and in accordance to agreed milestones/gates. Your profile You have a bachelor s or, preferably, a master s degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent with 10-15 years of project management experience, which relates or is equivalent to IPMA level B/C and/or PMI PMP. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. In addition to excellent coordination and communication skills and the ability to work in a very structured and result-oriented manner, it is also essential that you have good interpersonal skills, as you will be navigating in many different types of working environment with a wide range of different people. You are a dynamic professional and are able to find both constructive and practical solutions to all kinds of operational and technical challenges. Additionally, you have experience from working in multi-disciplinary teams. You are also a proactive player who thrives on sharing your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues in order to contribute actively to the development and improvements within the field of offshore wind farms and asset integrity management.
