- Production Support - Denmark - Hillerød The number of people with diabetes is increasing dramatically. Therefore, Novo Nordisk has initiated an exciting project to investigate the possibilities to expand the insulin filling capacity in Hillerød. The project will have a high degree of complexity with lots of cross organizational and global cooperation. To succeed with this ambitious project we need people with a pioneer spirit who like to build something completely new, with a high level of commitment and who thrive in a constant changing environment. About the department The production department in the project is responsible for purchasing, implementing, validating and manning the production equipment and processes for the new facility. The production department will have 4 teams: Wash & Sterilization, Formulation, Filling and Inspection. The Filling area will consist of 6-8 people in the beginning - growing to around 50 people. The job As an Automation Engineer you will be our new Filling Professional and report to the Associate Manager for the Filling team. Together with the rest of the team you will be responsible for the entire implementation of two filling lines and equipment including purchasing, installation, validation, ramp up and regulatory approvals. The team will work closely together with the vendor of the equipment, the engineering partner and the other teams in the project. Once in operation you will secure that the equipment within your area of responsibility is fully functional at all times and is ready for inspections and audits. You will handle the documentation, including preparation of specification requirements for the users, reports on non-conformities and handling of change requests. You are going to conduct the yearly evaluations of the equipment. As Automation Engineer you have an important role creating the link between our IT systems and filling lines, securing the interfaces are aligned. Expect 6-14 weeks of travelling and working abroad at vendor sites during the first two years of the project. Qualifications Preferably you have an engineering background combined with experience of vision systems and automation from a production environment in the drug or food industry where you have become familiar with GMPs. Ideally you have 2-5 years of experience with aseptic filling. Newly educated candidates, however, are also very welcome to apply. The right candidate will receive adequate training in the areas necessary to succeed in the position. It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. You are expected to work both independently and in teams to ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. As you will be part of the team starting up this area, in our project, you can look forward to working with a highly dedicated project team.
