Primary Special Needs Teaching Assistants - Dudley - SEN -Primary Special Needs Teaching Assistants -September Start -Permanent position -ASD school -Outstanding Ofsted A large specialist ASD school in Dudley is looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant with special educational needs experience for September 2015. The role involves supporting a Class teacher and a class of 6 - 8 children from Key Stage 1 and 2. All the children are on the autistic spectrum and their attainment levels vary between P levels and Level 2c. Their needs are manifested in areas related to speech, language and communication difficulties and difficulties in understanding abstract principles or language. The school are seeking someone with a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum s and some experience differentiating for children with Autism. This school is looking for 3 Teaching Assistants as the school is expanding its intake of pupils. The schools is very aware of the important role Teaching Assistants play within the classroom, and want hardworking, experienced and encouraging individuals to take on the roles available.
