We offer excellent training and career progression opportunities as well as a variety of staff benefits.  Cambian Cedars   Cambian Cedars is a locked rehabilitation hospital supporting up to 22 male adults with learning disabilities.  Job Profile   You will be encouraged to contribute to, and influence the development of active care. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be able to show initiative, demonstrating clear decision making and organisational skills. You will be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual patient programs of care. You will have a focus on risk assessment and risk assessment strategies, ensuring that the requirements of the care program approach are met. Additionally you will support empowerment of the patients with particular regard to their dignity, rights and advice. Candidate Profile   Qualified individuals should be fully conversant with the Mental Health Act and its recent updates, have an understanding of the latest nursing practices as well as the local and national agendas that impact on nursing practice and patient care.  Applicants should have a positive outlook, be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative, although the team approach is essential.   Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
