ZAKRES PRACY:

Yoh solutions are currently looking for a skilled mechanical design engineer to work in the Telford area. The opportunity would suit an experienced engineer who has worked from complete concept through to commissioning of a special purpose machinery projects. You will have the chance to play a hands on role with the design of multiple projects, and have the opportunity to see your designs being made, as all machines are manufactured on site. About the business: You will be working as part of a well established team of multi:skilled design engineers. This opportunity would be a great for some one with previous experience in designing complex machinery for commercial industries or some one looking to expand in to this area of expertise, as full training and a supportive environment will be provided. This company has been incredibly successful over the past 18months and this growth is expected to keep going, there is definitely no shortage of work. With a range of impressive clients, each Piece of Machinery will be bespoke and challenging, making this a very interesting role. Main responsibilities will include: : Producing designs and subsequent manufacturing drawings and related documentation, primarily using CAD system Autocad Inventor. : Taking on accurate mechanical design calculations when required. : To liaise with key clients to undertake material and equipment specification needs. : To discuss and resolve design related production issues with the in:house manufacturing departments, sub:contractors and suppliers. : To review design specifications provided by customers to tender suitable documentation and assess proper compliance of company products to customer requirements. : Being able to respond formally to the sales department, which will include being able to provide technical information on the degree of compliance and corresponding non:compliance. : Keeping up to date with changes to applicable UK and European legislation. : Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager. Previous experience required: : Experience in the design of Electro:Mechanical machinery, food/ pharmaceutical machinery or similar equipment. : Solid works or equivilent 3D CAD design package. : Knowledge of hydraulic or Pneumatic systems. : Previous experience working with Precision mechanical assemblies. : Degree qualified or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. : Creative experience in New product development from concept through to production. : Experience with working with customers in a technical proficiency. : Good attention to detail.
