SEN Teaching Assistant Small Heath September 2015 - on going £50-£65 per day A large infant school in Small Heath are seeking a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis with an Autistic child. To be considered for this role, you must have experience working with SEN pupils on a one to one basis and in small group settings. The child who requires support will be new to the school in September. The right candidate will liaise with the relevant members of staff and the child s parents to ensure the child s learning needs are met and they are settling well into school life. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is a minimum requirement for this role. You must have a caring nature and good knowledge of Literacy and Numeracy. You will be responsible for helping the child grow and understand basic Literacy and Numeracy skills. The school provides continuous support to all teachers and teaching assistants.
