Hourly Rate £7.20 - 28 days annual leave* - Cost of PVG Paid We currently have opportunities for Nurse Assistants to join our team at Camilla House Care Home based in Edinburgh. There are various Full & Part Time / Bank positions on both day and night shifts available. Camilla House Nursing Home provides residential, nursing and dementia care for older people, as well as palliative and respite care. We are committed to maximising the personal choice and independence of everyone who stays with us. Responsibilities: Build good relationships with the people we support as well as other staff members Provide daily support to the residents to help maintain and improve, where possible, independence and mobility Assist residents to carry out their activities of living e.g., dressing, eating and bathing In addition to the existing tasks of a carer/senior carer, the duties of this post will include the following duties, under the supervision of a registered nurse: Care planning Staff supervision Admission and discharge of service users Delivery of palliative care Medication administration (non invasive) Simple dressings Observations First aid Benefits: 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays* Eye Care & Child Care Vouchers Retail Discount Scheme Cost of PVG Check Paid Comprehensive induction On-going training and development * Terms Apply Requirements: QCF / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential Qualifications and training to administer medication Passion for delivering high quality care Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Our positions are subject to PVG Disclosures which will be completed upon successful application.
