To support the development of its virtualized IT infrastructure, Tango is looking for an experienced Senior IT Administrator. Reporting to the Head of ICT Services team, you will be the responsible for the Design, Deployment, Integration, Optimization and Operational Support of the Tango ICT infrastructure. We are seeking a senior level Systems expert with in-depth IT systems experience in a multi-platform environment. This position requires extensive experience with performance monitoring, workload profiling and capacity management, as well as being highly competent infrastructure and storage management within a virtualized environment. Experience with Oracle/Sun, Linux and Windows administration is expected. In particular, you will be accountable for the development and launch of new solutions to expand Tango’s product portfolio using the full potential offered by the Infrastructure: responsible for Projects delivery (feasibility, status reports, risks and gaps identification, coordination of life cycle and design) act as IT Infrastructure engineer for specific key projects, following governance, strategy and solution design established Job responsibilities For this position, we are looking for a candidate excelling in following responsibilities: Administration of the data centre infrastructure (DBs, storage, servers…) Capability to design, implement and expand next generation datacentre with virtualized I/O (NFV). Refine our VMware environment to provide a Telco enterprise-class virtual infrastructure. Design, deliver and maintain a scalable backup and anti-virus solution for the virtualized environment. Develop methodology for workload profiling and optimization. Create comprehensive monitors/KPIs within Enterprise Manager for performance reporting and management. Enable DR-capabilities by leveraging virtualizations features, automation and Site Recovery Manager. Your Profile You have minimum 7 years proven experience in the IT Infrastructure services delivery within the area of Virtualization. Proficient with virtualization (VMware vCenter/vSphere, OpenStack…) Experience in leveraging NAS and SAN storage. Experience in provisioning servers via templates and cloning. Experience with Network backup solutions. Five (5) years of Enterprise Systems Administration experience, including MS. Strong VMware diagnostic, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. ITIL certification is desired. Strong communication and documentation skills (e.g. Visio, wiki, etc). Strong customer support skills. VMware VCP certification is desired. Experience with Telco environments will be considered as an advantage. Project Management experience and methodologies. Skilled in monitoring / diagnostic tools and technologies. Fluent in English (every other language is considered as an advantage: German, French or Luxemburgish) We are looking for a candidate with a M.Sc. degree or equivalent.
