SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER We are looking for a dynamic Sustainability Manager to drive a sustainable culture and unify the ways of working at Lemminkäinen, thereby influencing the whole value chain. The Sustainability Manager is responsible for developing and deploying sustainability policies, principles and standards for the Lemminkäinen group. The person is responsible for facilitating group level target setting and action plan creation in both the short and long term. The Sustainability Manager coordinates the work with business segments and supports functions at various levels of the organisation. The person is also responsible for stakeholder relationships and networking influencing the overall value chain. The Sustainability Manager follows up and reports planned actions on the group level to improve performance and ensure compliance. In addition to the group role, the Sustainability Manager is also responsible for sustainability development in the Paving business segment. In this role, the person will adjust the group level standards to the segment level instructions and development activities together with the segment s sustainability specialists. The person develops sustainable ways or working within the segment and supports local organisations in sustainability matters. To succeed, you will need: A clear understanding of the environment, health and safety regulations Experience in sustainability policies, standards and programmes and their implementation Proven ability to drive cultural change Good ability to communicate at all levels Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and proactively cooperate with and influence stakeholders A bold and positive mindset Fluent written and spoken English skills required; Scandinavian languages and Finnish are assets.
