Fennovoima is a nuclear power company established in 2007. Our power plant will be constructed in Pyhäjoki, Northern Ostrobothnia. Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Your job is to supervise occupational health and safety management of the contractors in the Hanhikivi 1 construction site. In your job you ensure that client s occupational safety obligations are fulfilled in the construction site and you will create and develop new practices from the beginning. Your will work in close cooperation with the main contractors of the site to managing the occupational safety. Later on the working time will be organized in two shifts. Your tasks include e.g. Maintaining the client s OHS System Supervision of the contractor s OHS systems Site OHS risk management Ensuring the compliance of OHS legislation and Client s OHS requirements at the site Supervision of occupational safety at the site Ideal candidate for this position has education: Bachelor or Master level degree e.g. in Engineering All additional training related to occupational safety management and construction work would be considered advantage Over 3 years of experience in tasks related to occupational safety Good knowledge of occupational safety legislation and requirements Good interpersonal skills and cooperativeness Language skills: advanced in English (and Finnish) both verbally and in writing We appreciate professional and positive team players who want to take responsibility, have the desire to develop new power generation and have the skill to listen to colleagues.
