Fennovoima is a nuclear power company established in 2007. Our power plant will be constructed in Pyhäjoki, Northern Ostrobothnia. Nuclear Safety Engineer We are looking for an expert with knowledge on Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA), risk-informed applications and/or Failure tolerance analyses (FTA). As a part of Fennovoima s PRA group you support the plant supplier in developing these analyses and review them. Together with the rest of the group you will be cooperating and communicating with the plant vendor, authorities and consultants. You will participate in developing further Fennovoima s capabilities in PRA, risk-informed applications and FTA. Your tasks include e.g. Supporting the plant vendor in developing PRA, risk-informed applications and /or FTA Reviewing PRA, risk-informed applications and/or FTA Cooperation and communication with the plant vendor, authorities and consultants Other various tasks related to PRA and nuclear safety Ideal candidate for this position has Master s degree or post graduate degree, in technology, engineering physics or mathematics or similar field Experience from e.g. PRA, severe accident analyses, failure tolerance analyses and/or failure modes and effects analyses (FMEA) Knowledge of PWR plant technology and processes Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the nuclear field Language skills: advanced in English and Finnish both verbally and in writing We appreciate professional and positive team players who want to take responsibility, have the desire to develop new power generation and have the skill to listen to colleagues.
