We need great minds with a pioneering spirit. Sberbank Europe is in a unique position: We are about to establish a new bank, building a bridge to business in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). We offer a postion starting in June as 1 Senior Card Manager (m/f) GERMANY, Frankfurt am Main We are opening a new role at our growing bank - Sberbank Direct Germany in Frankfurt am Main. The position covers the full range of debit and credit card activities for Sberbank Direct. The Senior Card Manager will lead the effort to (launch and) increase Sberbank Direct¿s card volumes by driving initiatives to improve product offers, covering all aspects of marketing, sales, pricing, activation and retention strategies. Position will be based in Frankfurt, Germany and will require occasional travel to Vienna, Austria and/or Moscow, Russia and other Sberbank Group countries to establish close working relationship. Your Responsibility * Develop a credit card strategy to reach the target volumes as described in the Sberbank Direct business case. * Contribute towards target setting for the card business, and the identification of initiatives to achieve those targets. * Card P&L performance and budget execution monitoring and taking necessary actions to improve it where necessary. * Conducts regular review on market trend and studies competitor activities to identify opportunities. * Initiates product ideas and ongoing features / benefits tailored for each target segment. * Work on the development of new products and sales strategies for these, while monitoring and driving the performance of existing products to ensure key penetration and performance metrics are achieved. * Create all necessary documentation related to new projects or the improvement of existing products. * Ensure ongoing marketing plans and campaigns make good commercial sense and deliver agreed budgeted plans. * Lead the development, planning and execution of affinity and co-brand credit card programmes where applicable. * Develop and implement the card portfolio management strategy. * Create and manage a dedicated management reporting, analysis and planning framework for cards. Your Profile * Must have a minimum of 5 years¿ experience in banking with a leading consumer bank with particular focus on the cards business. * Intuitive grasp of how to drive the profitable expansion of the card businesses, and understanding of the cost and revenue drivers affecting the various card products and business lines. * Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. * Excellent knowledge of card products, marketing and customer communications (cross-sales), operations and risk. * Excellent command of English, and verbal and written communication skills. * Multicultural / international experience preferable.
