Aufgabenbereich:

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic teacher of mathematics who loves the subject and can communicate this passion to students from a wide range of nationalities. Applicants must have good experience teaching to GCSE and Advanced Level. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Surval Montreux is a boarding school for about 50-60 girls aged 13+ to 19+, Owned by Bellevue Education. Curriculum delivery is in English. Surval has been undergoing a period of expansion, with a range of courses for international students. IGCSE, AS and Advanced Level courses are provided in addition to the American High School Diploma and Liberal Arts (GAP year) programme. Boarding experience is an advantage but not essential. Some single accommodation may be available in school. All staff run clubs and activities after school, take part in the sports programme and are on duty for a full day at a weekend each half term. Each member of staff also takes part in one international (residential) trip each term. School hours are 8.20 until 4.45pm, plus one evening duty each week. Classes are small at Surval, typically 6-10 students. Classroom practitioners must therefore be self-sufficient in their subject specialism, able to build their own resources within a delegated budget, and to administer the curriculum and assessments efficiently. Flexibility is valued, and expected. Teachers will have significant non-contact time in which to work together to develop courses and opportunities for the girls, to share good practice and to use imagination and initiative to help the school to grow.
