Early Childhood Educator - Job Description KiddieLand is a bilingual (EN/DE), innovative and modern childcare, located in the heart of Zurich, near Escher-Wyss-Platz. Dedicated to high quality standards, great learning opportunities and memorable experiences, we are looking for a highly motivated educator to join our dynamic team and offer support in our Pre-school group, with children from 3 years old until Kindergarten entry, moving into primary classes in the future. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children. - Provide adequate equipment and activities in line with child development and early education theories and practices - Supervise assistant teachers or interns in the Group. - Be familiar with emergency procedures and relevant legislation and policies to ensure that children are supervised and safe at all times - Provide nutritious snacks and lunches - Communicate with international parents and members of the community - Promote literacy and early education - Maintain program Administration Required Qualifications: - The passion and experience exemplified by a career teacher - Higher Education Degree in field of Education, preferably a Bachelor¡¦s - Degree (Master¡¦s is a big plus) - Native English speaking skills - British, Australian or American(preferred) - Qualified to teach from pre-school until primary classes - Minimum 5 years of experience. International, multilingual experience highly sought after - Certified English Teacher (TEFL, etc) - Certified in safety and first-aid procedures (CPR, etc) We offer excellent working conditions, 5 weeks holidays, learning and professional growth opportunities and an attractive salary.
