Key responsibilities * To utilise system tools to ensure effective deployment of teams * To provide regular feedback to Shift Managers in relation to productivity status * To acknowledge, understand and log issues [delays, vehicle damage etc] and log * To ensure Drivers complete their worksheets in full compliance with DFT legislation * To ensue drivers operate within the FTA regulations and are allocated the work within these guidelines * To ensure drivers operate within the WTD regulations and are allocated the work within these guidelines * To view all first use check documents returned by drivers and take the appropriate action if any repairs required * To work within unit MPS guidelines and feedback regularly to the Shift Manager current status * To effectively communicate between the Unit, HAC, Duty Allocators and Duty Managers * To record data from airside disruption, teams and known flight schedule issues in the Preactor tool * To effectively communicate between the unit and vehicle maintenance supplier and report with use of internet reporting system * To assist Shift Managers with seasonal schedule planning * To travel and work airside (HGV and non HGV vehicles) Skills & qualifications * PC Literate (intermediate Excel, word, outlook) * Strong planning skills, ideally with the bility to use BABS, GPS, Flight Information Screen, Preactor tool * Minimum education to GCSE/O Level/NVQ standard * Experience of team leadership, development and motivating teams ideally in the airline industry * Familiar with costs and KPI s, process improvement and commercially aware By applying for this role, your details will be sent to the Ortolan Group, who are acting as consultants for the hiring company.
