Process Operator – Plastics Liverpool, Merseyside £Competitive Established and constantly growing, our client is a leading plastics processor. Due continuous success, they are now looking for a Process Operator to join their team. As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of plastics processing activities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our client’s plant. In this important role, you’ll conduct extrusion plastic processing and its associated activities, ensuring you work to the highest standards in regards to health and safety, quality, housekeeping and production. Additionally, you will work in an efficient and safe manner at all times and ensure that a clean and tidy work environment is maintained. To be considered, you must have: - At least two years’ hands-on experience of working on an extrusion line, ideally including setting up run parameters - Experience of plastic processing, gained within a company that produces plastic products - A proven track record of blending, setting up machines, in-line quality control and filling in and controlling paperwork As a Process Operator, you must have strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently and a team player mentality. Previous QA experience, including measuring and testing plastic sheets and profiles would be beneficial to your application, as would a good understanding of machine mechanics and settings.
