Maintenance Engineer Based in Nottingham Salary circa £32,000+ Excellent Benefits The UK s leading and best-known food on the go retailer are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on a temporary 3-6 months contract, tasked with carrying out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance work on bakery equipment in shops across the Nottingham area. The Role: Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager and supporting the Shop Maintenance Team, you would be responsible for ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possible. You would carry out a regular maintenance schedule, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs and modifications, ensuring machine downtime is minimised whilst repairs are carried out. You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days within a set shift pattern over 45 hours per week, and you must be willing to drive throughout a large geographical region if required to do so. The Candidate: The ideal candidate for the role will be 17th Edition qualified and HND/HNC-educated in a relevant Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline, with significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvements. In-depth technical and operational experience will be required as will familiarity with a range of control systems. Strong communication skills along with the ability to communicate at all levels will be required, as will excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload, plus the drive to consistently exceed targets and achieve results.
