Are you able to work from home? Would you be willing to travel multi-site from West Yorkshire, Gloucestershire, Sussex and Northamptonshire? Are you an Associate member of CIPD and looking for a Business Partnering role? Then this could be the role for you. A great opportunity has arisen for a dedicated HR Professional to join this leading disability charity. Based from home, ideally in the Midlands, you will be responsible for an allocated client group and you will be required to support your region in this standalone role. Working as part of the HR team you will be able to strengthen the organisation for the future and you will be able to influence, motivate and develop people. Duties include:. * Responsible for engaging and influencing managers in the interpretation and implementation of Human Resources related policies, procedures and people plan in support of their operational objectives. * Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, ensuring best practice implementation of policy, procedures, processes and employment legislation. * Support managers in managing sickness absence effectively and within agreed targets, advising on policy, and making referrals to Occupational Health as required, whilst ensuring support for the well-being of affected individual employees. * Promote and support managers to ensure effective people management, including reviewing training levels, ensuring that regular staff briefings, supervision and appraisals are completed. Liaise as required with the Learning & Development team on learning & development matters. * In conjunction with the Assistant Director and/or Director of Human Resources, contribute to the development and review of people plans, policies and initiative which support the achievement of the organisational objectives. * To take a lead or undertake various Human Resources projects as identified in the Human Resources business plan ensuring that they are planned, budgeted, implemented and reviewed as directed by the Assistant Director of Human Resources and/or Director of Human Resources. Skills and Experience:. * The ideal candidate will be a CIPD member and you will have proven experience within an HR Advisor/HR Business Partner role. * Previous experience within social care, education, manufacturing, NHS or retail would be ideal as well as previous multi-site experience. * You will have an excellent understanding of current employment law, HR policy and practise and experience of restructure/redundancy. * The ability to coach and influence managers and having strong leadership skills is a must. * You will be able to deal with complex casework and will have experience of change management as well. * It would be desirable to have experience with TUPE transfers and HAY job evaluation systems as well. * You will also need to be a car owner and driver.
