Our client, a well respected food manufacture based in Fakenham (North Norfolk) require 30 workers to join them ASAP for both Day and Night Shifts. To assist with all aspects of food production within an efficient, continuously improving, production line / area that optimises product quality, GMP, customer service, cost and health & safety. Specific responsibilities include providing multi-skilled expertise within the manufacturing process including Critical Control Point and HACCP training for Production Operatives to required standards. KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES. You may be required to work in various areas for the manufacturing facility with tasks ranging as follows:. Putting manufactured goods and products into containers like boxes, trays, bags and crates. Weighing and labelling packaged goods ready for dispatch. Cleaning work areas to the correct hygiene standards. Prepare a variety of foods according to customers orders or management instructions, following approved procedures. Weigh or measure ingredients or products. Ensure all products are coded correctly and metal detection is managed as per procedure. Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other designed storage areas. General duties in and around the factory that may arise during production. Ensure you work towards the Standard Operating Procedures set out for operative tasks. Working and responsible for HACCP areas within with the production area in line with quality and Standard Operating Procedure requirements. Ensuring the correct document control is managed effectively within your production area. Trained and signed off within two specialist area of the factory i.e. filling, cooking, skilled hygiene, machinery, line checking, prep area complete. Shift Performance - Health and Safety, Labour, Materials, Customer Service. Ensure all products are made to company specification including, temperature, weight, photo standards, CCP, reporting all failures to Team leader and/or shift manager. Assemble, produce, and pack of quality products to company standards at all times, reporting any failures with recommendations provided to the management team. Provide information of issues to ensure improvements are captured and implemented. Help maintain GMP by keeping work area/line clean and tidy. Ensure all near miss and accidents are reported to management. Stock and Machine Control. Ensure materials are available and equipment is operating properly to deliver the production plan. Ensure efficient and effective shift change over, by controlling stock levels, GMP, and documentation, with any issues reported immediately. EXPERIENCE. Relevant level of education(GCSE/O levels). Basic literacy and numeracy. 1 within the FMCG industry or manufacturing site. Basic Food Hygiene. Relevant Health and Safety awareness. At least 6 months experience as Production Operative level 1. Proven training and assessment for level 2 specialist production areas. Train the Trainer qualification.
