Customer Service Representative x 11 Salary - £10.00 Per Hour Edinburgh - City Centre This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new venture within a major financial group. We are looking for Customer Service Advisors to support this prestigious client in their Contact Centre based in Edinburgh City Centre. The key purpose is to be the first point of contact for customer calls to the call centre, providing an excellent level of service by meeting customers needs and seeking opportunities to extend and develop the customer relationship which will maximise business performance and create a consistently positive experience for our customers. Previous Customer Service experience is essential, previous longer term Contact Centre experience is advantageous. Financial services is desired. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Answer telephone calls from business customers, assisting with queries, providing account and product related information and carrying out transactions over the telephone. - Uses knowledge of the organisation s propositions, products and services to explain to customers in detail, how and why they should use them. - Uses questions to establish customers underlying needs and utilises knowledge and understanding of a product or service (or range of products and services) to fit/tailor offerings to a customers need. - Maintains sufficient knowledge of competitor products and services. - Demonstrates compliance with policies, processes and measures. - Awareness and application of risk prevention procedures in all contacts with customers and colleagues whilst remaining aware of need to deliver excellent customer service. - Handle customer calls, ensuring relevant productivity and quality measures are achieved for our customers in line with specified process and procedures - Take ownership of personal development and training, through regular review of performance against business objectives, and take responsibility for self development - Handle all customer contacts appropriately to ensure fair outcomes are achieved for all customer contacts.
