NÁPLŇ PRÁCE:

Administration Officer Location: London, WC1R 5EF Salary: GBP30:40k : Depending on Experience Closing Date: Wednesday 24 June 2015. The individual will work closely with and report to the Chambers Executive Officer and Chambers Board and will have line management responsibility for all non:clerking functions. The person will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the efficient, effective and economic administration of Chambers and will have lead responsibility for all administrative functions within Chambers including finance, facilities management, HR, the organisation and administration of Chambers meetings and Committees. The Role Finance: Management of chambers finances and the Aged Debts (credit control) for individual members. Preparation and monitoring of annual budget for Chambers, Review and reporting on annual expenditure. Assisting with management of accounts, cashflow and bank reconciliation, financial compliance, and ensure best value is obtained against all administrative and financial decisions. Facilities Management: Maintenance of appearance and functionality of all offices, Manage refurbishment and repairs, Building security, procurement of office equipment, to also include utilities, rates, and stationary and annually review expenditure and renegotiate contracts and costs. All health and safety matters. Administration: Ensure maintenance of Chambers insurance policies and certificates are current. Bar Mutual and Top up cover and Data Protection cover is adequate and up:to:date, Equality and diversity compliance. Organise and attend various Chambers meetings and ensure decisions are implemented. Regulation, assisting Chambers Executive Officer and Chambers Board in ensuring Chambers is compliant with all regulatory requirements. Assist with the recruitment processes, Staff, Members, Pupils and Mini:Pupils. Human Resources: Assist and provide HR support to the Chambers Executive Officer and Chambers Board. Responsibility for HR Administration and management of Staff including; recruitment; policies and procedures; all staff records : sickness, benefits and holiday records. Others: Assisting with Chambers IT including intranet and security systems. Library, including: budgetary control and resources. The Person * Be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent vocational qualification in business, accountancy or other relevant field; or be able to demonstrate relevant equivalent experience. * Previous experience in a Barristers chambers or legal services environment with experience relevant to the administrative functions would be of advantage. * Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within Chambers and with outside organisations. * Be innovative and be able to plan and implement change within an organisation.
