NÁPLŇ PRÁCE:

Organisatie Medical Scientific Liaison Will work in the domain of Cardiology Reports to the Medical Advisor Role Purpose Educate healthcare opinion leaders and professionals on therapies developed and (to be) commercialized Build partnerships with opinion leaders and decision makers Meet the information needs of opinion leaders and healthcare professionals regarding the client s products on the market or in development Participate in the selection of centers for clinical trials; assess and channel proposals for Investigator Initiated Trials Job Description Major Accountabilities Develop professional relationships with national, regional and local opinion leaders. Ensure their access to current medical and scientific information on client s products. Develop advocates of our products. Be the ‘scientific liaison between opinion lead-ers and in-house colleagues (Medical Advisors, Clinical Development team, Brand team, …) Provide medical/scientific information to healthcare professionals who provide peer education to keep their presentations current and to ensure they have the most re-cent information necessary to respond to questions encountered during their presentations. Present medical/scientific data on the clients products, during face to face contacts or scientific presentations, to healthcare professions (including physicians, pharmacists, formulary committees, ...), either on an individual base (direct requests of healthcare professionals, requests by sales reps) or within the context of well-defined national ‘scientific information campaigns . Participate in the selection of centers: suggest centers and upon request, perform ‘feasibility visits. Upon request, give presentations during initiation visits. Do the ‘first level assessment of scientific interest/feasibility of Investigator Initi-ated Trial proposals, forward the most interesting and realistic projects to the Medical Advisors. Be an active member of the medical-marketing team. Use superior therapeutic area and brand knowledge to identify competitive advantage/differentiation for the cli-ent and its products. Report customer feedback from scientific and medical meetings. Upon request, par-ticipate in the medical/scientific training of the sales field force. High interactive contacts with field force. Job Requirements Education: Scientific degree, by preference PhD Required Experience: An absolute requirement is a previous relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry and a minimum experience in networking with Medical Doctors is a must have. This can also be an experience in an academic setting E.g. Experience in a medical affairs and/or R&D setting - relevant experience as Hospital representative or product specialist - Experience with networking with Medical Doctors during PhD Experience in Cardiology or General Medicine is a plus Required competencies: MUST HAVE: perfect command in French and English with a good command in Dutch.
